Type: gin, dry
ABV: 47%

For all of the New Yorkers, this one is actually made in your city – and Brooklyn no less!

I’m a huge fan of gin overall, as it’s a spirit that lends itself well to weightier drinks in the winter, and easy-drinking botanical blends in the warmer months. Basically, it’s a year-round staple. After picking this one up for the first time about a month back, I’ve been using it almost exclusively for my gin-based beverages, from the Studio Six to the Negroni.

It’s made with organic, New York grown wheat, in addition to Tuscan Juniper, Coriander, Chamomile, Elderflower, Citrus, Thai Blue Ginger, Ceylon Cinnamon, Orris Root, and Elderberry. It’s a complex and flavorful one, certainly with a lot going for it.

While you’re at it, also check out the Beach Plum Liqueur – I don’t have it available to me up here (yet, hopefully!), but it’s a unique guy tapping into NY local even more. It’d definitely be fun to play with in some new concoctions.
